Employment FAQs

Do I need to complete the employment application?

Yes. An online application is required from all prospective employees. It includes information about your work history, church involvement, and personal testimony. View our job openings and apply for a position that fits your gifts and experience.

How long will you keep my application on file?

CCU keeps applications on file for one year.

I submitted my online application to CCU. How will I know that you have received it?

You will receive an e-mail confirming our receipt of your application. Please be aware of spam filters on your e-mail account, and ensure that you are able to receive e-mails from hrmailbox@ccu.edu.

What if my contact information changes after I submit my application?

Log in to your profile and make any necessary updates to your information.

Will I be notified if I am not a finalist for the position?

Yes. You may log in to your profile to view the status of your application.

The application process is taking longer than I expected. Am I still being considered?

While the application process may seem lengthy, we are carefully considering each candidate. We will inform you of your status as soon as possible.

I am intersted in another position with CCU and I already submitted my application for a job with the University. Do I need to re-submit my application?

CCU will keep your original application on file for one year. If less than a year has passed since your initial application, simply log in to your profile and submit your existing application for another position.

I applied for a position and was invited to complete a video interview. What is this?

CCU utilizes video interviews as the initial stage of our review/interview process for most positions. The video interview is pre-recorded and can be completed by the applicant any time, day or night. Practice interviews can be completed before recording the full interview and most interviews can be completed in under 30 minutes. A web camera is required for the interview. If the applicant does not have access to a web cam they can request one to be mailed to them free of charge, within 48 hours.

I applied for an Adjunct/Affiliate Faculty position and my application status says "If not already done, request official transcript." Where should I send my transcripts?

CCU requires official transcripts for the highest degree you have earned. If you have a terminal degree, please also send official transcripts from your Graduate degree. This transcript(s) must be sent in a sealed envelope from the institution to:

Colorado Christian University
Attn: Human Resources
8787 W. Alameda Ave.
Lakewood, CO 80226

Please stress the importance of sending the transcript to the attention of Human Resources, as transcripts sent to the main address are not always forwarded to our office. Submission of your official transcript makes you eligible for consideration as an affiliate faculty member in the discipline for which you applied; however, it does not guarantee a course offer and contract.
